A diverse workplace

StaffThe Secretariat represents a diversity of people from around the world.

Employees come from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, North America and the Pacific. Staff originate from countries such as Australia, Ghana, India, Jamaica and Vanuatu.

The London headquarters is where people bring their culture, history and values to one place, merging to meet one of the organisation's main functions: promote co-operation among member countries.

Working at the Secretariat headquarters, you will meet people of different nationalities.  It could also mean travelling to Commonwealth countries. It's an opportunity for understanding diverse cultures, religions and ways of life.
