Since its inception the Commonwealth Finance Ministers Meeting has sought to prepare Ministers for their discussions at the IMF/ World Bank Meetings which take place immediately afterwards.
The next Meeting of Commonwealth Finance Ministers (CFMM) will be held in Washington DC, USA on Wednesday 21 September 2011. The Meeting, which takes place during a period of particular global economic and financial uncertainty, will address key contemporary challenges for the Commonwealth’s membership. The meeting will be held at the IMF Headquarters and takes place during the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.
The last Commonwealth Finance Ministers Meeting was held in Washington DC, USA on 7 October to 8 October, 2010 under the Chairmanship of Canada’s Finance Minister, the Honourable James Flaherty.
