
The 2012 meetings of the Commonwealth Finance Ministers and Senior Finance Officials, and stand-alone Ministerial meeting on the looming debt problem in Commonwealth Small Vulnerable Economies (CSVEs) was held in Tokyo on 9 – 10 October 2012 at the Tokyo International Forum.
These meetings took place during a period of continued global economic and financial uncertainty and will address current challenges faced by Commonwealth member countries.

The Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) took place on Tuesday 9 October. Its agenda will focussed on partnering with the private sector for sustainable growth and mobilising the Commonwealth voice - the post-2015 Development Framework.
