The Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group on the Harare Declaration (CMAG) will meet in London over 19-20 May 2003, Commonwealth Secretary-General Don McKinnon announced today.
The Group is expected to focus primarily on the situation in Pakistan and its status in the Commonwealth. It will also discuss the situations in Fiji and Solomon Islands and receive an update on developments relating to Zimbabwe.
Foreign Ministers of Australia, The Bahamas, Bangladesh, Botswana (Chairman), India, Malta and Nigeria are expected to attend. Samoa will be represented at a senior level.

This will be the 21st meeting of CMAG since its establishment in 1995.
