Commonwealth Secretary-General meets HRH Crown Prince Tupouto'a of Tonga

Commonwealth Secretary-General Don McKinnon met with HRH Crown Prince Tupouto'a of the Kingdom of Tonga in London today.

The Secretary-General briefed the Crown Prince on the recent visit of his Special Envoy to Tonga, Sir Douglas Graham, and they discussed continuing co-operation between the Commonwealth and Tonga.

The Crown Prince welcomed the Commonwealth's long-standing support for Tonga and highlighted the importance of the commercial sector in the country's future development.
