Media Arrangements for CHOGM

The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) will be held in November 2007 in Kampala, Uganda.

In terms of media arrangements, the Commonwealth Secretariat would like to state the following:

1) That there is no accreditation fee for news people covering CHOGM.

2) That the only organisation with the exclusive mandate to accredit media for CHOGM is the Commonwealth Secretariat.

3) That anyone without proper media accreditation sanctioned and provided exclusively by the Commonwealth Secretariat will not cover CHOGM.

4) That for the media’s own security and comfort, it is advisable to accredit early via the official CHOGM website http://www.chogm2007.ug/
