Kampala Commonwealth Meeting confirmed

Reports of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in November being moved from Kampala are incorrect. 

Commonwealth governments collectively have accepted President Yoweri Museveni’s invitation to host the Meeting, and there are no alternatives under consideration. 

Following a recent visit by a Commonwealth Secretariat planning team, a memorandum confirming administrative and logistical arrangements was issued to all Commonwealth governments on the very day of the erroneous reports.
