The Progress Flag presented to Commonwealth Secrtary-General

Commonwealth Secretary-General Don McKinnon being presented with Progress Flag by Blackson Bayewumi
Commonwealth Secretary-General Don McKinnon was presented with the Progress Flag by Blackson Bayewumi on March 12.

Blackson is a member of the Nigerian National Youth Council and Head of the Commonwealth Youth Organisation in Nigeria; a voluntary body committed to improving young peoples quality of life.

The Progress Flag symbolises the readiness of youth in the Commonwealth to continue with the success achieved by its leaders. It also demonstrates support for the activities currently put in place for the benefit of Commonwealth citizens.

Nigerian President Obasanjo is currently Chair of the Commonwealth, and Nigerian has recently hosted the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and the Youth Forum in Abuja, Nigeria.
