Observers deployed in all provinces
Kenyans went to the polls on 27 December 2007 in an election which was monitored by a Commonwealth Observer Group.
The observers were deployed in the eight provinces of the country.
The chair of the COG, former Sierra Leone President Dr Ahmad Tejan Kabbah observed the opening of the polls at Parochial Primary School in Starehe Constituency in Nairobi, the country's capital.
Dr Kabbah also observed polling in Langata Constituency.
The COG will issue its interim statement on 29 December 2007 at 12:noon at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
