Secretary-General briefs world media on CHOGM

Kamalesh Sharma, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, on 9 November 2009 briefed international journalists in London, UK, on the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Trinidad and Tobago.

Mr Sharma, speaking at Marlborough House, the headquarters of the Commonwealth, touched upon what he believes could be some of the issues discussed by leaders in Port of Spain later this month, including the economic crisis, global warming, electoral management and support for young people.

The summit takes place between 27 and 29 November 2009.
