Dr Rhoda Mundi thanked CYP for partnering with the University of Abuja and ensuring that the delivery of the CYP Diploma in Youth in Development Work is extended to Nigeria. She said that the initiative would further enable youths from far flung areas of Nigeria to have more access to university education.

“We are requesting that the sponsorship be extended so that more youths train in this youth development programme. And it will be of even much greater benefit if the diploma is upgraded to a degree at the University of Abuja” Dr Rhoda Mundi said.

Prof. Mabel Evwierhoma also added that young people continue to face many challenges e.g. HIV and AIDS, unemployment and teenage pregnancies which education could help curb. She said that the youth development programme has been designed to specifically address such problems.
