Members of the Commonwealth Observer Group to the 2007 General Elections in Kenya
2 January 2008
Commonwealth observers to Kenya elections have called upon those aggrieved with the results of the just concluded polls to seek redress through the courts of law.
A departure statement issued by the Commonwealth Observer Group chairperson, former Sierra Leone President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah on 2 January 2008, said that: "It is our fervent hope that in the days ahead, candidates who may wish to challenge any aspect of the electoral process, should seek redress with due respect to the rule of law."
