The Commonwealth Health Professions Alliance, an alliance of Commonwealth health professional associations representing community health workers, dentists, doctors, nurses and pharmacists, is sponsoring an inaugural pre-Commonwealth Health Ministers’ meeting civil society debate.
The topic for the debate is: The health MDGs by 2015: possible or impossible for Commonwealth countries.
Dr Mark Collins, Director of the Commonwealth Foundation is leading the ‘for’ team, while Dr Danny Sriskandarajah, Director of the Royal Commonwealth Society is leading the ‘against’ team.
The debate will be held in the Saas Fee Room, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Geneva, 1100-1230 hours Saturday 15 May.
