The Executive Committee of the Board of Governors is a smaller body of 16 countries, eight of which are the largest donors to Secretariat funds and the remaining eight elected on a rotational basis, for two year terms, from different regions of the Commonwealth. The Committee currently meets three times a year. The Committee is currently (2006-07) chaired by the High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea, H.E. Ms Jean Kekedo.
