Commonwealth Commission on Respect and Understanding, 2nd meeting, Marlborough House

The Commonwealth Commission on Respect and Understanding, chaired by Nobel-laureate Amartya Sen, was established to take forward the 2005 CHOGM mandate which asked the Secretary-General to “to explore initiatives to promote mutual understanding and respect among all faiths and communities in the Commonwealth.” The Commission will produce a report ahead of the 2007 CHOGM in Kampala, Uganda.
