The Commonwealth Port Operations and Management Programme is an intensive two-week programme for middle management staff employed in port and terminal operations. The objective of the programme is to assist participants assess and improve their continued growth and effectiveness.
The course covers and analyzes a number of topics of importance to the participants such as transport systems, yard management, marine operations, port privatisation, containerisation, port security, planning operations, interpersonal skills, delegation, management and authority, motivation, culture and organisations as well as financial aspects of port management.
