Annual Performance Report 2008/09

The Annual Performance Report (APR) for 2008/09 summarises the Commonwealth Secretariat’s performance from 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009. This report provides an overview of the Organisation’s contribution to the planned results of the first year of the 2008/09-2011/12 Strategic Plan.

• The APR 2008/09 has three sections:
  a summary overview of the significant achievements for the year;
• more detailed statements on the Secretariat’s contribution to the Strategic Plan results for each of the eight Programme areas during 2008/09, including information on expenditure; and
• a statement of key achievements related to improvements in Business Support Functions (BSF) covering governance, communications and corporate management of the Secretariat.
