Commonwealth Secretariat Assistance to Member Countries - 2006-07

This report provides a summary of the activities supported by the Commonwealth Secretariat during 2006/07. It lists the projects and other work delivered in countries and regions as well as those which were Pan-Commonwealth in reach. Approximately three hundred and fifty activities were implemented during the year, drawing mainly on the CFTC and the Commonwealth Secretariat regular budget. The report is designed to be a companion document to the Annual Performance Report for 2006/07. Read in conjunction with the APR, it provides greater specificity and more contextual details on projects as a useful background to the statements of performance and progress made in the APR. These two documents have been prepared to meet the requirements of the Secretariat to report to member governments on the work of the Commonwealth Secretariat. They also contribute to raising wider awareness of the contribution to development that is made through the Commonwealth
