Annual Performance Report 2005/06

The Commonwealth Secretariat Annual Performance Report (APR) is a key governance document. It provides a summary statement on programme implementation and policy improvement and importantly, contributes to meeting public accountability standards. The APR for 2005/06 covers the second year of the current Strategic Plan period (2004/05 -2007/08), focussing on key deliverables and achievements for the year which are seen as on target to deliver the objectives of the Plan. The report provides an overview of the performance in each of the sixteen programmes, providing a broad-brush picture of the quality and effectiveness of Secretariat’s policies and programmes undertaken during the financial year across all thematic and cross-cutting areas.
