Small States Digest - Issue 3, October 2010

Welcome to the third issue of the Small States Digest, a periodic information sharing newsletter from the Commonwealth Secretariat, focusing on the needs and interests of Small States.

In this issue, the digest carries three main articles namely: “Private Sector Role in Natural Resources Development: Enabling framework for private sector investment in extractive natural resources in a developing small state.” by Victor Kitange; “The debt problems of small middle-income economies and need for an integrated framework: an update.” by Dinesh Dodhia; and, the consensus statement from the July 2010 “Small States Global Biennial Conference” held in Marlborough House, London.
