The Commonwealth Health Ministers Meeting was held in Geneva on 21 May 2006. The theme of the meeting was “Human resources for health.” The Meeting was chaired by the Honourable Rosie Winterton MP, State Minister of Health, United Kingdom, and attended by Ministers and representatives of 45 Commonwealth countries and territories. More than 100 representatives from other partners, including UN, WHO, regional and civil society
associations were also present.
