Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting 2003 - Final Report

Ministers reviewed strategic and operation plans of Commonwealth Youth Programme (CYP), considered the direction of the CYP and set priorities for action for 2003-2006. The Meeting also provided Ministers with opportunities for networking, learning from and exchanging ideas with Commonwealth colleagues in an informal environment. Thirty-seven (37) countries participated in the meeting; of these, twenty-three (23) were represented by Ministers, representatives of the Commonwealth Foundation, Commonwealth Games Federation, UNICEF, the UN Youth Unit, the United States Peace Corps, the University of South Africa, the British Council and Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) participated as observers.
