Dominica - International relations

Dominica is a member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

It is also a member of the United Nations (UN); the World Trade Organization (WTO); the African, Caribbean and Pacific partners of the EU Group of States(ACP); the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM); the Association of Caribbean States (ACS); and the Organization of American States (OAS).

Dominica has strong relations with the French Departments of Martinique and Guadeloupe, and there are Dominican communities on both these nearby islands.
