Publications and Information

Publication and Dissemination of Human Rights Information and Materials

Information sharing is vital in the promotion of human rights and Commonwealth values across the Commonwealth and beyond. The Human Rights Unit publishes for the use and information of member countries, literature on human rights developments, jurisprudence and other educational materials to assist in the promotion, protection and justiciability of human rights.

Through the publication and dissemination of human rights information such as the Human Rights Update Newsletter, the Commonwealth Human Rights Law Digest and others, the HRU assists countries in being acquainted with human rights developments in the Commonwealth and the wider world and helps in developing policies in line with international human rights standards.

The Commonwealth Human Rights Law Digest is produced by Interights (http://www.interights.org/) with the support of the Human Rights Unit.
