List of national export strategy projects

  1. Swaziland-Completed in 2006 and approved by the Cabinet for implementation.
  2. Botswana-Completed in 2006 and awaiting Cabinet approval.
  3. Fiji-Completed in 2006 and approved by the Cabinet for implementation.
  4. Grenada-Completed in 2006 and approved by the Cabinet for implementation.
  5. Belize-Due for completion in December 2006.Government has given undertaking to incorporate it in the next national development plan due to be finalized shortly.
  6. St Vincent and the Grenadines-Due for completion in January-March 2006.The Country’s Prime Minister had given undertaking of his government to implement the strategy.
  7. Namibia-The project has been put –on- hold as the Government restructures the trade development functions.
  8. Uganda-Launched in November 2006.
  9. Dominica-Process started in November 2006 with a day workshop of key public and private sector representatives.
  10. Competitiveness enhancement in Pacific Island States
  11. Development of an Export Promotion Manual for DTI, South Africa
