Assistance in the Mineral Sector – Swaziland

Technical Assistance is being provided to the Government of Swaziland, mining sector, with the preparation of a mining policy.  Swaziland requires a modern policy, legal, economic and regulatory framework to guide the development of its mineral sector and make it more competitive. It is expected that the project would involve providing advice on policy, legal, economic, regulatory issues, reviewing the current legislative framework and terms for investment in the mining sector and assistance with preparation of modern mining legislation and investment terms.
