Project Management and Referrals

The Project Management and Referrals Unit (PMRU) has prime responsibility for quality assurance analyses of projects and contracts so as to ensure that they meet with the design standards of the Secretariat and comply with the results-based management approach adopted by the Secretariat.

The Unit also provides policy advice to the Deputy Secretaries-General, particularly related to project management and CFTC matters and assists with the coordination of CFTC-funded activities. It also has responsibility for CFTC resource mobilisation efforts, the preparation of CFTC and development briefs and documentation for senior management in support of the Secretariat governing body and other high level meetings. The PMRU oversees all activities related to the promotion of CFTC.

The PMRU also assists Commonwealth member countries on a request basis to access technical and development assistance available from other organisations.
