Nabeel Goheer

Dr. Goheer is an international professional in strategy and development diplomacy. He holds a PhD in Management from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK.

Dr. Goheer’s career spans over 18 years as a diplomat, international consultant, and civil servant, working in South Asia, Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Americas and the Caribbean in organisations such as the World Bank, UNDP, ILO, the British Council and the Government of Pakistan. Dr. Goheer assumed office as the Director of Strategic Planning and Evaluation Division (SPED) on 1st December 2010. He is also Secretary to the Governing Boards of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London. Before joining the Commonwealth, he worked with a United Nations Agency in Geneva, Switzerland and in Latin America and the Caribbean region. He has won several awards including UN fellowship for the Harvard University, USA and published four books and several research articles in the international journals.
