The Joint Office for Commonwealth Permanent Missions to the United Nations, New York

The New York office provides subsidised office space for diplomatic missions of Commonwealth small states to enable them to maintain a presence in New York, engage fully with the United Nations and other multilateral agencies and participate in international decision-making processes.

The office also operates a business centre for tenants and visiting delegations from Commonwealth small states.

Commonwealth Youth Programme Regional Centres

The Commonwealth Youth Programme (CYP) Regional Centres are responsible for developing and running programmes and activities within each region. Their presence in the field gives us continuous contact with young people, youth ministries and relevant organisations.

This allows us to identify new youth development issues at an early stage and provides a vast pool of experience and resources (at the grassroots, national and regional level), all of which makes us more effective.
