Anti-Corruption Conference the UN Convention Against Corruption Implementation & Enforcement:Meeting the Challenges, Chatham House, London  24 to 25 April 2006

Further to the coming into force of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC), the Commonwealth Secretariat, in collaboration with Chatham House, convened a conference with a view to taking forward the implementation of UNCAC among those States that have signed to it. Speakers and participants at the conference included representatives from both member and non-member States as the organisers aimed that the conference be global in outlook. Below is a copy of the post-conference report which includes detailed summaries of the presentations and subsequent discussions that took place.

Commonwealth Seminar for the African Region on the Implementation of International Environment Instruments and Policy Development, Grand Baie, Mauritius, 31 October - 6 November 2005

This Report gives an overview of the discussions and recommendations of the African Regional seminar which is the first of a series of regional environmental law seminars aimed at assisting small states of the Commonwealth to implement environmental conventions and develop comprehensive environmental laws.

Commonwealth Seminar on Landlocked States in Africa Part II, Maseru, Lesotho, 28 November - 1 December 2005

This Report gives an overview of the discussions and recommendations of the Lesotho Seminar, which is the second in a series of meetings aimed at assisting Land locked States of the African region to implement the relevant provisions of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
