International Cooperation

With the continual growth of transnational crime, it has become critically important that states have the ability to seek and provide assistance by way of extradition, and mutual legal assistance including the cross border restraint and confiscation of the proceeds of crime. As a result, one of the key continuing mandates of the Criminal Law Section is to facilitate international co-operation capacity and practice.
