How we meet these challenges

Advocacy. Through high-level policy advocacy initiatives where the Secretariat can inform national/regional and global policy development and the global debate to promote Commonwealth interests

Knowledge Development. By contributing towards enhanced knowledge in the Secretariat’s priority areas and on emerging priority health issues within the Commonwealth through analytical studies. The Secretariat will use the analytical products it develops to stimulate discussion within and between the Commonwealth countries. Particular focus is paid to dissemination of information, formatted to suit the needs of specific partners. This raises the visibility of our technical contribution and also provides an opportunity for the Secretariat to gather country information that can be brought to the regional and global levels.
