The ninth session of the Commonwealth Consultative Group on Environment (CCGE) took place in Nairobi on Tuesday, 4 February 2003 in advance of the high-level segment of UNEP's Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum.

Sri Lanka's Minister of Environment and Natural Resources, the Hon. Rukman Senanayake, chaired the meeting.
