Strengthening Ghana Business Development Services (BDS)

A project to assist the EMPRETEC GHANA FOUNDATION, the National Board for Small Scale Industries and Private Sector Business Development Service Providers to develop, modernise and enhance Business Development Services (BDS) in Ghana is being implemented.

The Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) development industry recognises the important role that BDS can play to support the growth of SMEs in developing countries and this project will develop new products and services that deal with new emerging business challenges, including those linked to developments in modern communications and technology.

This project includes a train-the-trainer course to develop the competencies of BDS service providers and a pilot SME training project.
