A Consultative meeting on Trade Effects of Procurement Policy was convened at the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Headquarters in London on 9 March 2011.
The objective of the meeting was to discuss the draft report titled ‘Trade and Procurement Policy: Emerging Development Issues for Commonwealth Developing Countries’ and identify analytical gaps where further research could be undertaken to strengthen evidentiary base upon which trade negotiators, policymakers and others could draw upon when devising and evaluating negotiating proposals for rules on procurement.
