In the coming year, we will be looking to take forward work on the reform of international institutions through the establishment of a process of pan Commonwealth consultation. We will also be extending our financial literacy work to the Pacific building on the successful work in the Caribbean. And in investment, the deepen our understanding of the obstacles to the development financial sectors in the Caribbean and Pacific with a view to designing interventions and policies to improve efficiency in these sectors.
In the coming year, we will extend our work on assisting small states to build their resilience to shocks. In addition work will start on assisting small states to benefit from and meet the challenges posed by globalisation. Migration will also be a focus of our work so that small states can not only benefit from the remittances but also the skills of their migrated human resources. Development indicators on small states will also be made available online so that policymakers and researchers would have easy access to data for policy analysis.
