Partnerships are essential in our work. They are key to the delivery of our objectives on behalf of the membership and to building the relationships to bring real change through advocacy.

For example, increased attention is paid to the interests of the smallest states through the Small States Forum which is an outcome of the Commonwealth Secretariat –World Bank Joint Task Force Report on Small States and through the joint development with the IFC of a database to assist small firms in the construction industry in South Africa to access finance.

We also work with organisations and institutions such as the European Commission, the Food and Agriculture Organisation, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development as well as national governments and regional organisations such as the CARICOM Secretariat and the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.
