Natural Resources

Many countries are unable to benefit from their natural resources because of corruption or a lack of policies in place to cope with the many complexities. Over a dozen countries have benefited from our assistance helping them benefit from their natural resources.

For example, in the Mineral Sector, assistance was provided in a number of projects such as the formulation of new policies and legislation in Kenya, Swaziland and Ghana and assistance in the re-opening of the Gold ridge mine in Solomon Islands.

Such projects provide great benefits to countries through the attraction of significant amount of private foreign investment, the generation of government revenue and foreign exchange as well as income for those employed in this sector.
