PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Participated in the UN/UNITAR Regional Training and Refresher Course in International Law, held in Dhaka in 1976.

Awarded a fellowship to attend the American & International Law, organised by the International and Comparative Law Center, The South Western legal foundation at the University of Texas, Dallas in 1979.

Attended under an exchange program "Higher Legal Training Course" in America in 1984 under the supervision of Chief Judge Wallace of the 9th Circuit Federal Appellate Court, San Francisco, California, U.S.A.

a) Enrolled as an advocate in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in 1963.

c) A former International Associate of the American Bar Association.

d) A former part-time lecturer of Law, Dhaka University.

e) Convenor of the 'PILOT PROJECT DESIGN COMMITEE' for introducing Alternative Dispute Resolution in the Family Courts of Bangladesh.

f) Honorary Secretary of Bangladesh Institute of Law & International Affairs from 1975-1980.

g) Honorary Director of the Bangladesh Institute of Law " International Affairs, Dhaka, from 1982-1985.

h) Former Chairman of the Advisory Board, formed under section 9 of the Special Powers Act.

i) A former member of the Bangladesh Bar Council

j) A former Governing Body Member, Central Law College, Dhaka.
