Derek Ingram: Profile

Co-founder of the CJA with Patrick Keatley, Derek is regarded in all circles as the best writer on the Commonwealth. His lifetime in journalism includes deputy-editor of the London Daily Mail, founder and editor of the Gemini News Service, and he is author of a number of books on Commonwealth matters. He has served and still serves on several Commonwealth committees and supports Commonwealth organisations including the CPU and CHRI. In 1997 he produced an important review of the Commonwealth Secretariat's Information Programme. He was President of the CJA 1980-1990 when he was elected President Emeritus.
