InterAction Leadership Programme

Organisers: The British Council

Date: 10 June

Venue: Sheena Room, Speke Resort and Conference Centre, Munyunyo

Summary:

The one-day programme aims to explore assumptions about leadership and to develop in participants, a greater curiosity about themselves and the world around them, in addition to encouraging them to actively work to make a positive difference. The expected outcomes of the programme are that participants will learn to communicate more effectively with the aid of new communication tools and understand how simple actions within an organisation can bring about change. Participants will learn about ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ and how it can make a difference in their lives. They will also learn how the questions they ask can impact negatively or positively on others. The programme is open to all those attending the Women’s Affairs Ministers Meeting. There will be a maximum of 60 places available. Participants will primarily be drawn from delegates in the Partners Forum and the Senior Officials meeting.
