Trade Section Staff

Nikhil Treebhoohun

Nikhil is the Head and adviser in the Trade Section of the Special Advisory Services Division (SASD). He is responsible for the overall functioning of the Section which provides technical assistance on request to governments and institutions on matters related to exports competitiveness.

Angela Strachan

Angela is an adviser in the Trade Section of the Special Advisory Services Division. Much of her work is focused on providing advice to Commonwealth governments in the area of trade and transport facilitation. She also works on assisting governments in implementing measures to simplify business procedures and customs documentation as well as reducing the costs of doing business within and at their borders.

Chanda Musonda-Chellah

As a trade adviser in the Special Advisory Services Division, Chanda works in the area of export competitiveness with focus on tourism. She advises member countries on strategic planning and capacity building through market development and promotion, product development, agro-tourism linkages, Community Based Tourism, skills development for improved service delivery, and institutional frameworks supportive of growth and competitiveness.

Estella Aryada

Estella is an adviser in the Special Advisor Services’ Trade Section. She works to support the implementation of initiatives that will help member states become stronger players in the global trade of services. Her objective is to help countries enhance competitiveness and diversify exports in order to grow.

Isaac Njoroge

Mr Isaac Njoroge works as a Trade Adviser in the Special Advisory Services Division. He works with member countries to formulate export strategies that will help to improve the performance of exports from these countries. He works closely with both the private and public sectors to help create the partnerships necessary for the success of the project.
