Tom Le Feuvre

United Kingdom Regional Youth Caucus Representatives

Tom was born and educated in Jersey, where he first became interested in youth affairs by participating in local youth enterprise and youth parliament programmes. He studied History and French at Durham University, during which time he was elected as a student union officer and served on a number of collegiate committees.

In 2006, Tom was elected as a trustee of the British Youth Council, the national youth council for the United Kingdom. In this role, he combined his interest in youth affairs with his enthusiasm for international relations. Ever since the age of 18, when he was given his ‘first taste’ of international representation at a youth ministers’ meeting, Tom has been a strong believer in the Commonwealth and was delighted to be selected as the UK representative to the Commonwealth Youth Programme:

“The Commonwealth represents everything that is good in the world of international relations: peace, diversity, democracy and consensus – we should do more to celebrate its achievements and champion its values.”
