Nigeria Regional Youth Caucus Representative

 

Dabesaki is a youth development researcher, advocate and policy consultant, with over four year’s hands-on experience. His key areas of interest include: youth sexual reproductive health, including HIV prevention, Information and Communications Technology for education (ICT4E) and development frameworks, with a particular emphasis on youth inclusion and participation.

His consulting experience includes assignments completed for: United Nations Population Fund, the Commonwealth Youth Programme, the African Union Commission and several government agencies. He was involved in the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation’s pioneer work towards the establishment of a virtual library in Nigeria and served as temporary adviser to the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS in 2006 & 2007 respectively. He was pioneer Executive Director of Development Partnership International and a co-founder of the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS.
