Norman Gilbert

Norman Gilbert, 26, is a Youth Officer at the Youth Department in Grenada. He was a teacher for over seven years (1997-2004). During this time, he was a Scout leader and a 4-H leader. He is specially trained in participatory methodology, drug and violence intervention and leadership skills. He is a Red Cross volunteer and facilitator for the following programmes of the Red Cross: para-professional counseling, first- aid and HIV/AIDS. He is also the president of the National Youth Council of Grenada, member of the National Youth Ambassador Corps, and the St. Patrick Youth Council as well as many other groups and committees.
