Malaysia

Mr. Dalbir Singh

Dalbir Singh is the current Chair for Asia region for the Regional Youth Caucus, Commonwealth Youth Programme (CYP). He is also the Chair for the Human Rights and Democracy thematic group under CYP. 


Dalbir has a soft spot for the underprivileged and differently able youth and children. This is the main motivation behind his active involvement in empowering and training the youths. He firmly believes that youths are not a problem to be solved but an asset to be developed and capitalized on. 
He is also a womens activist in his own way and a trend setter that you don't have to be a woman to uphold the rights of women. 

Dalbir was the past immediate Minister Appointed Member to the National Youth Consultative Council of Malaysia for the term 2009/2010. Dalbir also represented Malaysia to the Asean+3 Youth Caucus meeting in Bangkok, 2009 and the Commonwealth Youth Forum in Trinidad & Tobago, 2009. 
Dalbir works full time as a Technical Consultant with Cisco Systems focusing on Smart+Connected Communities and Emerging Technologies.
