Facilities available at CYP Asia Centre

The Centre has two seminar/conference halls that can be hired for events, i.e. workshops, conferences, seminars. The fully carpeted and   air-conditioned seminar hall has a seating capacity of about 40. It has microphones for each seat, a whiteboard, foldable screen, LCD Multimedia projector, and audiovisual equipment as well as cordless and tiepin microphones. Internet linkage is also available. The seating   capacity in the conference hall is about 40. This also has audiovisual equipment, whiteboard and other necessary facilities. This room can be rearranged as required, i.e. in a workshop layout, seminar, conference or lecture layout. The Centre provides photocopying facilities and local, national and international payphones.

The dining area and mess can be hired to provide buffet meals to  participants or guests. The dining area is provided with a television lounge  as well. The hall can also be arranged to seat 150 people as audience for  any event. The kitchen is equipped with modern and hygienic cooking  facilities. Filtered water is available at all times. The chef can cater to a  number of different palates and special diet requests.

Access to the cyber café and  library  are available on request.  The cyber café has four  computers. The library  has the  largest  collectionon youth- related  literature in the North  Indian  region. It subscribes  to five national  daily  newspapers, nine  magazines and  eight journals.

The hostel has been renovated recently and has four air-conditioned,  double-bed rooms with television, intercom and attached bathroom.  There are 13 ordinary double-bed rooms on the ground floor with a  common bathroom. The first floor has 14 double-bed rooms in all with a  ladies wing. There are five rooms in the ladies wing as well as a ladies  lounge. The top floor has 10 single-bed rooms. An intercom is provided in  each room of the hostel. A laundry facility is available on request.  Visitors  can play outdoor games like badminton and volleyball. Indoor  games like table tennis, chess and carom are also available. There is  ample parking for guests and visitors.
