Programme Manager
He has twelve years of significant experience in the development sector with specialization in HIV/AIDS, project management, advocacy, policy analysis, scaling up, capacity building, knowledge management, community mobilization, strategic planning, conflict resolution, resource mobilization and institution development. He has developed various strategy and policy documents also drafted proposals, concept notes, memorandums, significant change stories, toolkits and written reports.
Prior to his association with Commonwealth Secretariat he has worked with broad range of organizations under different capacity. He served as a Programme Manager for Family Health International (FHI), Programme Manager for Population Foundation of India (PFI), Project Manager for ADRA India as well as an Advocacy Officer for International HIV/AIDS Alliance. Over his career, he has designed and managed multifaceted projects and provided technical assistance in a range of areas: HIV/AIDS, project management, scaling up, capacity building, advocacy, policy analysis, monitoring, evaluation, networking, knowledge management, community mobilization, communication, strategic planning, partnership management, conflict resolution, resource mobilization, participatory learning appraisal (PLA) and institution development to NGOs, governments and community based organizations.
He holds a Master Degree in Peace Studies, a Master Degree in Sociology, a PG Diploma in Health, a PG Diploma in Sustainable Development and currently pursuing his PhD programme on Gender and HIV.
