James Odit

Mr James Odit from Uganda is the Regional Director at CYP Africa Centre in Lusaka, Zambia.

James-OditHe studied at Makerere University in Uganda and the University of Ghana, Legon and gained a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Sociology and Social Administration and a Master of Arts in Population Studies respectively.

Before joining CYP, Mr Odit worked as a National Manager for the Programme for Enhancing Adolescent Reproductive Life (PEARL) in Uganda and as a Senior Youth Officer for the Ugandan Ministry for Youth.

"My wish for youth development in the near future is seeing this sector given the priority it deserves including the provision of adequate resources to promote youth empowerment."
