Commonwealth Nurses Federation

The Commonwealth Nurses Federation (CNF), founded in 1973, is a federation of national nurses' associations in Commonwealth countries. It is a credible, democratic and participatory organisation.  It is involved in the promotion of high standards of professional practice.
 
Its objectives are:

  • influence health policy throughout the Commonwealth 
  • develop nursing networks
  • enhance nursing education
  • improve nursing standards and competence and 
  • strengthen nursing leadership.
